What should I be doing?
Friday, 22 October 2010
Homework - Friday 5th November
- Use your production schedule as guidance
- Think about the location (is it easily accessible?, do you have permission?)
- Time (do you have enough daylight/nightlight?)
- Lighting (how have you lit the scene?)
- Actors (are they available for shooting?)
- Continuity (are the actors in the same position for each shot/are they wearing the right clothes?).
- Equipment (do you have all the cameras/tripod/props you need?)
Lastly please be careful with all the equipment and have fun!

What is the difference between AS and A2?
Remember you should be developing on the skills you have learnt in AS to produce a more successful and professional portfolio. One way to do this is to think how you will individualise/subvert/challenge the brief?
Please leave your comments on how you will do this so you can get feedack from other groups!
Interesting Teaser Trailers
- 'Cemetery Junction' (no footage from the film just Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant joking about Ralph Fiennes)
- 'G-Force 3D' (only clips from the film)
- 'Cloverfield' (a mix of 'gimmick' and 'clips')
But remember it is shorter than a theatrical trailer. It should usually be between 30 and 60 seconds, but no more than 90 seconds, as anything longer would be a theatrical trailer.
Be Creative!
